Mr. Haider Waheed is an Advocate of the Supreme Court of Pakistan and is the Founding Partner at HWP Law. He leads a team of approximately fifty lawyers, supported by a team of court, office and administrative/clerical staff of more than twenty individuals. He holds a B.Sc. from South Eastern University and a J.D. from Texas A&M University, USA.
He had initiated his legal career in 2003, working alongside Mr. Khalid Anver, Senior Advocate Supreme Court of Pakistan and former Law Minister. Mr. Haider Waheed was formerly a Senior Partner at MCAS&W Law Associates, from 2004 to 2018, with Mr. Munir A. Malik, Senior Advocate of the Supreme Court of Pakistan and the former Attorney General of Pakistan.
Mr. Haider Waheed has more than twenty years of high-end litigation experience before all levels of judicial and quasi-judicial fora. He provides a full range of legal services of both a litigious and an advisory nature and his vast clientele includes oil and gas companies, print and electronic houses, telecommunication companies, banks and financial institutions, industrial consumers, regulatory and governmental organizations as well as diverse individual litigants. Given the experience and reputation, he is regarded as one of Pakistan’s leading lawyers and is admired by his clients for his court presence and problem-solving approach. Having tackled various cases and represented many top clients, he has garnered praise for his working credibility and esteemed skillset.
